Leonard 38-4 Hunt Fly Rod 7' 2/2 #4 HL Leonard Serial number SS8047A late model Leonard Hunt 38 4 fly rod, 7', 2 piece, 2 tips, built for a #4 line. A rod built during the Brian McGrath era. Serial #110. 3 ounces. Very near mint condition, with no hand soiling to the grip and no reel foot impressions on the spacer. Some slight brassing to the inner guides. Nice medium fast action. The cane is flamed and in a 3 up node pattern. The wraps are plum with four windaways at the keeper and the tips. Carbide stripping guide.
