Each one has a huge teardrop pear shaped stone as its main feature and then more rhinestones and beads have been hand stitched into place above that so that they look like they are suspended from the tops and hanging on the dress

The waist is nipped in with a band of fabric that curves up and under the draped and pleated bust

This fabulous jacket is by Jean Paul Gaultier and is a wonderful example of the kind of tailoring he was doing during this time period
