I think this is a lackluster commander, but the fact that its still better than about 20 other commanders on the list speaks to the power level of many of these uncommon legendary creatures

These foils arent going to be as common as the Kaleidoscope Killers box set, which was heavily printed, but its worth knowing just how far a foil can drop when the available supply goes up

I like the simplicity on this artificer and the fact that it resembles my favorite LGS owner doesn't hurt either

So, dont forget to consider colorless card draw in your deck

But answering the deck was a heavy burden: it required instant-speed answers, often multiple since the tricks have flashback and SM99 can always be recast, plus blue always has an answer

Quickbeam, Upstart Ent Quickbeam, Upstart Ent works well both in a treefolk typal deck and commanding one
