Each of the enchanted cards in Into The Inklands is reminiscent of paint on canvas
With Cloud dealing high Commander damage, and my Enchantment continuously summoning cannon fodder to block attacks, I wound up with a pretty firm defence against the other players, who all had charge of their own Final Fantasy Commander Decks
So Cloud's deck, Limit Break , is all about equipment - though as the commander demonstrates, there's also a power-matters subtheme
Rather than challenging your opponent directly, the game plan is to get more value from your board than your opponent can from theirs, faster - while also using tricks to disrupt them and Bodyguards to protect your more important characters
Then when you can deal that combat damage, all damage dealt to them for a round of turns is...doubled
