Japanese games tend to have really thin packages often with only with 3-5 cards in each so this will be a welcome change although I expect a LOT of repeats
- Paper Quality: You will notice this difference primarily when stacking or holding the cards: English cards are thicker and opaque, except in older WOTC sets, while Japanese cards use a thinner paper material

Attacking is a case of making sure you have the right cards attached to your Active Pokmon to use the specific attack
There isn't any good direct comparison to Mangara's abilities, but the closest thing that popped into my head is Runic Armasaur, another creature whose card drawing ability is entirely dependent on your opponents' actions, making the card inconsistent where it sometimes draws you zero cards and sometimes floods you with card draw
