And quite a lovely graphic pattern of red diamonds against white with one blue stripe at top and bottom

There is a bit of a gap between one back leg and the main body where the nails have come out a bit

which I found in Kansas City

7 7/8" t x 3 1/8" w x 1 7/8" d

but which I assume notes the maker and detail the embroideries and their use

Red White and Blue Old Handmade Humpty Dumpty Doll old slate And quite a lovely graphicI've had a few home sewn Humpty Dumpty over the years, but it has been a while, and this one is my favorite, looking pretty patriotic in red, white and blue though to me with a bit of a French spirit to those colors! The periwinkle blue and cream are felt, the stripes silk I believe, plus cut felt features, a ruffle with fancy edging, red and black ribbons, and a bunch of red yarn poofs for hair or hat. Stuffed but not very much, making it a good one
