A gorgeous Mulholland Brothers Latigo leather reel case (formerly Holland Brothers)

The rod is set up in Leonard's well-known "Catskill style" with a wooden lip for a rear cork check and an english-style tournament snake guide for a stripping guide

The letter relates that the leather tube is from the Winston shop and was personally embossed with Gary's name by Jeff Walker at Winston

The reel is in excellent used condition with only minor use marks and light wear to the rim of the spool and frame

The rod is in excellent original condition with a few exceptions. A light coat of touch up varnish was placed on some of the ferrules and guides. One of the tips is short by 1 2", this tip has also lost its tip wraps though the tip top remains secure. Lastly, there is some light wear to the varnish in the form of scratches and small chips.
