I just think they are incredibly beautiful objects as well as very fun to play

mostly blue on front and black on reverse

I had thought it was Chinese

I like these two as a pair for the array of birds represented--an owl and what looks to me like some bird of a prey on the top one

but pretty exquisite I think

Austrian Modernist Round Lidded Box with Hand-drawn Designs antique odd fellows tag I just think they areI've not seen another like this, made in Austrian c. 1920s I believe, which feels Art Deco Constructivist Bauhaus, with the hand drawn painted designs on the lid hovering between abstraction and figuration. (I see a sort of Moholy Nagy radio tower at top, and two kneeling figures that are also pure geometry at lower right). Unusual, and great from the side too, with alternating bands of red and gold. 3 5 8 t x 5 3 4 in diameter. Good condition, with
