This 19th century sketchbook of a Mary Elizabeth Greene has seen better days

but both drawing and frame appear in very good condition

making for wonderful painterly surfaces

with very minor staining

Beautiful Small Two Piece Carved Black Duck glass panel The hand of the boyThis lovely old carved wooden duck is small a bit shy of 5 inches long but has quite a wonderful presence and sense of specialness about it, in significant part I think due to the head having been carved from a separate piece of wood than the body, which, together with the sensitive carving of the form, makes me think perhaps caved by a practiced decoy maker.
