Oil on Board Peaches Still Life prison art box some remnants of which remainI love an antique still life painting of fruit, and this pile of peaches with purple fig at right was beautifully executed, with a richness perfectly befitting ripe peaches! It hasn't been cleaned, and is a somewhat dark, but get it in the right light and those peaches are luminous! (Of course one could have it cleaned, but I personally like the aura and atmospherics of it just as it is, as if painted in candlelight to begin with and meant to be
