It is rare to find wood with such distinctive colour & grain pattern, it is absolutely stunning. There were some small cracks and shakes in this piece of wood, to highlight this natural movement, the voids have been filled in with copper specks. The pen has been individually hand made and finished with several coats of protective waxes and lacquer. The Celtic Pens
