Looks like a plotting protagonist smoking in the shadows of an Italian stairwell to me

Pink Flowers, 19th C. Theorem Watercolor on Wove fox head bright and clean and crispI just can't resist this sort of theorem watercolor, pretty and full of life and feels like spring. I especially love the treatment of the very green leaves on this one, with finely hand painted veins and lighter green underside revealed along one edge. Plus those fine filaments extending from the pink flowers that make them seem as if fluttering. 7 1 4" x 5 3 4" and in overall good condition; I mended a few clean tears from the reverse with clear
