"Returning Home" 36x24 Wildlife Landscape Painting Landscapes and the sound of air"Returning Home" I had found this barn while out exploring the countryside earlier in the year which began as the foundation for this painting. Later on, I had discovered another ranch with a creek flowing through the yard which inspired the foreground. I wanted this painting to depict the peacefulness and beauty of the valleys near where I live. I never knew how much waterfowl Western Montana had, particularly Mallards. They fill the ponds and rivers
