Pair of Early 20th Century Chinoiserie Side Chairs Mawson Swan Morgan This little gem ticks allA very striking pair of early 20th Century Chinoiserie side chairs, the splat, sides and front rail are decorated with lacquered traditional oriental scenes. The front cabriole legs have gilded shells to the knees and terminate with pad feet. These chairs are firm and stable and have been reupholstered in a light reflecting ivory fabric which suits the style perfectly. There is slight wear to the black paint on the cresting rail and feet, we love this
