and which gives the piece a terrific immediacy

and am adding a few new sets of what I believe are quite old ones

I believe tangrams are mid 19th century Chinese in origin, but have since been produced in endless forms. To my mind and eye, it doesn't get better than this small wooden Elzzup Puzzle in its smart red box most of all because of the gorgeous 64 page booklet inside, which looks to have been woodblock
