in which dog sleds and hunters featured prominently

I did not pay a lot for this painting

14" tall x x 7 1/8" x 6 3/4"

which is still holding very tight

Lovely Antique Silk Covered Round Needlebook / Pin Keep prediction cards I've since learned that thisSuch a pretty little pin keep, I could not resist. Silk fabric hand sewn over cut rounds of card to make it still, with two little white wool "pages" sewn inside, found filled with needles. The perimeter of the rounds are intended usable for stick pins, with the interior intended for (longer, thicker) needles. Lovely. 2" d and in very good condition, with just a couple of tiny holes and a little stain to the striped green silk.
