This heavy plate with a beautiful aqua green glaze and incised design of three whales circling around a triple spiral at its center was made in a limited edition by the United States Quarry Tile Company in conjunction with the Romany Spartan Ceramics Company in the 1950's

M King at 489 Main Street. I haven't been able to track down a record of A. M. King, but I have a vague recollection of coming across a trade card from the same shop, my bet
